فَإِنْ دَعَوْتُكَ أَجَبْتَنِي، وَإِنْ سَأَلْتُكَ أَعْطَيْتَنِي، وَإِنْ أَطَعْتُكَ شَكَرْتَنِي، وَإِنْ شَكَرْتُكَ زِدْتَنِي

If I called upon You, You answered me. If I asked You, You gave me. If I obeyed You, You were grateful to me. And if I was grateful to You, You increased me.

Words from Dua Arafah, spoken on the plain of Arafah by Imam Hussain (AS), a man who knew exactly what awaited him after, and still turned to Allah with complete and total surrender.

Dua Arafah is one of the most beautiful and eloquent conversations ever had with Allah. Every line is worth sitting with, worth returning to, worth letting settle in the heart. These prints are an attempt to carry its words beyond the day of Arafah and into the everyday, to make the imam's words a living part of how we move through this world, and perhaps in doing so, allow them to slowly shape the way we see Allah, the way he saw Him.

A reminder for your wall that there is no version of turning toward Him that does not end in increase. That every call is answered, every ask is met, every act of obedience is received with gratitude, and every moment of gratitude is met with more. There is no step in this where He is not giving.
